Late Season Birds

Kay recently went to visit her latest horse “Aamira” at Hilltop Farm, so Stuka and I came along and hiked the snow-covered, rolling acres in search of late season pheasants.  The day was cold and the daylight short.  We found no birds, but I managed to captured some images of Stuka in his element.

  • Terrific pics, beautiful dogs! – the B&W is my fav.

  • I will agree, the b&w is quite possibly the best shot of a winer I have seen in years!

    Excellent, excellent work!

  • Hi Scott, I just tried to message you via the contact section of this site but it wont seem to let me. Anyway..
You recently left a message for me on my tumblr ( as you are not on there I thought I would reply here and say thanks for your message. I think you blog is fantastic, I would currently give my right arm for a pointer. I see a lot of them on American sites but they are not so popular here for shooting as most people have some involvement in driven shooting and their go for a spaniel for rough/driving game or a lab for retrieving. I will get on one day! Any how I just thought I would say if your ever in Devonshire UK I’ll be happy to buy you a pint, as we say, of ENGLISH beer.
    Kindest Regards,
    Tom White
