Incandescent yearling Paso Finos gallop through lush woodlands on the La Estancia Alegre Ranch on the banks of the Rio Grande in Tesuque, New Mexico. Much of New Mexico is arid desert and high elevation plateaus, but along the Rio Grande the land is green and fertile. As autumn approaches, the sun hangs low in the sky, softly burnishing the landscape with gold. |
