| I adopted Mira in April 1990 in a rather pregnant
state. She blessed us with a dun colt in June of that year. Since then she
has produced dun, grullo and black foals when bred to a dun or grullo stallion.
She is an easy breeder and has settled every time she was bred. Mira has
fawn-colored hair inside her ears and during certain times of the year a dorsal
and leg barring can be seen. Mira is very easy to work with. Though she was
intended as a broodmare, she has had some work on the long lines and has had a
saddle on for a brief period without any problems. |
