| To my knowledge Badger is the only Kiger stallion
from the Sheepshead herd. His markings are awesome. He has a wide dorsal
with spots along both sides, dark leg barring, dark face mask and cobwebbing,
dark rimmed ears, bi-colored mane and tail and dark sworls on his neck. He
has a few white hairs near the whorl on his forehead. His foals have similar
markings. And he is so easy to work with - the veterinarian goes into his
stall alone and vaccinates him without a halter on, and the farrier thinks he
is one of the most mannerly horses he has ever trimmed. Badger loves people
and the attention they give him (and he doesn't mind the treats either). |
